Complete engine overhaul on compressor.
MRC preformed a complete overhaul on one of the engines of a double compressor.
This compressor is a Mahle, a German brand, so there were no parts available on the Island. We ordered the original parts in Germany.
After receiving these parts by air freight, we did the overhaul in one day and installed the next morning. To give a complete service, we cleaned the engine completely and gave him a new life with a fresh coat of paint.
As we have one engine back up and running, the next step will be to do the second engine.
On the picture: left is the engine to be done in the coming weeks, right is the engine we just overhauled. A big difference right?
