Re-powering Yacht with 6BTA Cummins
For almost a year now we have been doing jobs for IT International Telecom on one of their vessels: the IT Intrepid.
While this cable ship is doing jobs in the region, they are visiting Curacao for maintenance.
As for companies of this size, we know the easiest way for them to work is to have one contact person/company to arrange everything. That is exactly where MRC comes in.
The IT Intrepid needed all different kind of services, maintenances and deliveries.
Some examples of jobs we arranged and did on the IT Intrepid are :
Maintenance, docking and storage space, transportation of the big materials and containers, air vent reconstruction, chiller replacements, gangway reparations, balancing and delivery of propellers, ROV crane cylinder reparations and so on.
A big part of our job was the plough. Their plough got a complete service. From welding reparations to sandblasting to painting, we made the plough look brand new.
As an extra service we also delivered various supplies needed (like tie-wraps, office supplies, timber etc) and we arranged accommodation, car rentals, etc.
